The TU-model is first proven front locating system for piercing tools. The TU-model have traceable head-adapters KOK‐LD that carry an electronic sonde protected by shock absorbers. (LD = long distance). This allows precise tracking of the mole’s head. With the interchangeable head adapter user can convert the current mole into a traceable mole on the jobsite to locate the piercing tool. The locating equipment for the traceable TERRA-HAMMER comprises a sonde contained in the KOK-LD head adapter, used in conjunction with a hand-held radio locator with LCD-display to accurately indicate the position and depth of the tool. An additional transmitter allows pipe and cable locating. The TERRA-HAMMER TU 080plus SK and larger machines can be easily equipped with traceable KOK-LD adapters.
