Product Description

The TERRA-EXTRACTOR X 400 replaces old pipes from 1 1⁄2″ (ID 40 mm) up to 10″ (ID 250 mm) and was specially designed for the replacement of old gas, water or sewer main lines. Old pipe from cast iron, steel, clayware or PE/PVC can quickly be replaced in lengths up to 200 m.
The X 400 is operated via an electric remote control and has a pulling force of 400 kN (40 tons). New HDPE pipes with OD 63 – 250 mm are pulled in.

Technical Description

The X 400 replaces 40 to 300 mm main lines with up to 40 tons of pulling force at 215 bar. New pipes up to ø 355 mm can be replaced over length up to 150 m.
Equipped with a ø 25.4 or 14 mm cable the X 400 is ideal for the replacement of old pipes made from cast iron, ductile iron, steel, clay ware or PE/PVC.
High pulling forces: 400 kN (40 tons).
Bursts old pipes from plastic, concrete, steel, cast iron and even ductile cast iron with ø 40–250 mm (ø 1.5-10″).
Small pit: 1.80 x 1.00 m (6 x 3.3 ft).
